Both standard and custom roll form shapes are available from Rollform of Jamestown Inc. founded in 1951. Since then we have grown to be a recognized destination for roll formed profiles. Our customers include small and large manufacturers that represent a vast array of industries.
Custom Roll Formed Shapes

For 60 years we have been an industry leader in the design and production of custom roll formed shapes. There are many complex shapes that can only be produced through the roll forming process. The brake-forming of such parts, for example, is either tedious and impractical, or even impossible. The limits of roll forming are the limits of the roll form design engineer’s creativity, imagination, skill and experience. Send us your prints and give us a chance to show you what we can do.
The roll forming of complex roll formed profiles often requires precise in-line punching and sometimes the use of customized side rollers that work seamlessly with the roll dies. We also employ special roll forming techniques such as hemming, ribbing and pinching. Check out some samples of custom roll formed profiles that we have provided our customers.
Standard Roll Formed Shapes

Over the years Rollform of Jamestown, Inc. has created an extensive library of standard shapes that are commonly used in metal fabricating applications. These include: "U" Channels, "C" Channels, Hat Sections, Box Channels, "Z" Sections, and Angles.
If you need one of the roll formed shapes, chances are that we can pull an existing set of roll forming dies off our shelf and begin your production run without any tooling costs.
For either custom or standard roll formed shapes you may require holes or notches, evenly or un-evenly spaced along the length of your part. Typically this can be done in-line thereby eliminated expensive secondary operations. Consult with us and we will guide you to the most efficient way to produce your roll forming requirements.
