Roll forming is a continuous bending, high speed
forming process in which pre-slit material is fed
automatically through a series of roll dies designed to
form the desired profile. The process is ideal for
producing parts in larger quantities, multiple lengths,
long lengths and parts requiring tight tolerances and
dimensional consistency. Corners can be sharp or radiused, as per your request.
A finished part coming off the roll forming line
generally will have an absence of processing marks,
sharp clean contours if required, and have a slight
strength advantage over a brake formed part...

Roll forming
generally becomes more economical then brake forming as
you approach the 5,000 linear foot requirement. We can
combine releases, if possible, to increase your run
quantity which will lower your piece price even more.
