Welcome to Rollform of Jamestown, Inc.

Put 60 Years of Roll Forming Experience to Work for You!

Roll forming to tight tolerances is our specialty. We produce both standard roll formed sections and custom profiles utilizing advanced roll forming technology.

What We Do

Roll forming is a metal fabricating process by which flat coiled metal is continuously fed through a series of roll forming dies that gradually bend the flat material to create a desired shape. The final roll formed shape is a metal profile that has a consistent cross sectional geometry throughout the entire length of the part. The roll forming dies which are also called roll dies fit on to a series of spindle stands. Roll forming is ideal for producing large quantities of parts in variable lengths.

The design of a roll formed part begins with a flower pattern or sequence of drawings that show the progression of a profile from its original flat state through to its final shape. Each drawing or stage of the flower pattern becomes the basis of a pair of roll forming dies that fit on the spindles of the roll forming machine.

Roll Form of Jamestown has been producing roll formed parts for over sixty years. Our experience includes the roll forming of just about any metal that is available in coil form such as cold rolled steel, stainless steel, hot rolled steel, galvanized steel, brass, bronze and aluminum. Over the years we have developed a large archive of roll form tooling for standard shapes such as "U" channels, angles and "hat" sections. We can pull these dies off the shelf and begin your roll forming production right away, or if necessary, make slight adjustments to fit your special requirements.

Commitment to Excellence

We have developed a unique approach to roll form tooling and production that has earned us a much deserved reputation in the roll forming industry. Our state of the art servo-driven cut-off and pre-punching technologies enable us to provide parts accurately cut to length with holes, notches and other features included in-line. This proprietary system allows us to precisely locate features at line speed, which saves the cost of adding these features as secondary operations. And for those situations where in-line punching just won't work, Roll Form of Jamestown has the capability to perform many secondary operations.

Give us a call and pick our brain. From engineering consultation to tooling design to efficient roll forming production you can expect the highest level of roll forming service.
